Neighborhood overview
A residential district with notable commercial parts, Durumi is located in phase 2 of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja. The neighborhood is peaceful in nature with several posh housing estates and green spaces. The district is already well established with good infrastructure in place.
Although more commercial activity takes place in nearby Garki, there is a good amount of business and social activities in the vicinity. A few governmental institutions have offices here.
Basic public services as well as luxuries are readily available. Shops, supermarkets, schools, religious centres and restaurants are just some of the amenities Durumi offers.

Getting around
Durumi is conveniently positioned between the inner city and the less developed outer Abuja region. It is directly to the south west of the central business district.
The area borders Garki, Gudu, Kaura and Kukwaba to the north, east, south and west respectively. The Nnamdi Azikiwe Expressway and Oladipo Diya Street are the main through roads. Airport road is also very close by.
It takes roughly 10 minutes to drive into the city centre.
