Neighborhood overview
Guzape (Asokoro Extension) is the only developing district in phase 1 of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja. The district has a unique topography, with the land being quite green and hilly in nature. This factor has contributed to the relatively late development of the area.
Given its high elevation, the neighborhood allows for some breath-taking views of Abuja.
Although the neighborhood is not extensively commercial, there are enough social amenities in and around Guzape to keep residents busy. Several eateries, bars, shops and markets have sprung up in recent times in keeping with the demand.
A number of foreign embassies are within the districts vicinity. Other places of interest include Myra Event Centre, Africa Community School, Channels TV and African Independent Television.

Land and houses in Guzape
Guzape is currently a hotspot for real estate investment; accordingly the district is now developing at a rapid pace. This development goes hand in hand with the rising population of the area.
Its location in the prime phase 1 area of the city, the beautiful landscape and the peaceful atmosphere has made it an increasingly sought-after neighborhood for the well to do.
Houses built in this neighborhood have some of the most beautiful architecture in the whole of Abuja. As a result the price of land and housing here is high. This is in line with neighboring inner Abuja districts like Maitama or Asokoro.
