Dawaki is a suburb located to the north west of Nigeria’s Capital City, Abuja. It is under the administration of the Bwari Area Council (BAC), one of the 6 area councils in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
It has increasingly become popular due to the districts affordability and its excellent location just outside the city limits. Although mainly residential, business activities are expanding in and around the area. Many amenities are only minutes away and the close community give this district a sense of security.

Getting around
Dawaki sits near Gwarinpa and Katampe to the east. While Kubwa forms the districts boundary to the west. Karsana is positioned to the south.
The Murtala Mohammed Expressway passes by the neighborhood, leading directly to The Central Area in one direction and the Abuja-Kaduna Highway in the other. You can get into the city centre in approximately 25 minutes.
The train station, in Kubwa, linking Abuja to Kaduna State is only a short distance away.

This is among the cheaper neighborhoods to buy or rent homes in the FCT. With prices lower than other districts in Abuja, you will get a lot more for your money here.
