Neighborhood overview
Dakibiyu is an outer Abuja district that sits to the west of the city centre. It is located in the phase 2 region of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The area is mainly residential and is among the few still developing spots in phase 2. Dakibiyu has not grown as fast as its neighbors such as Life Camp and Wuye.
Although the neighborhood has not been fully established, there is a basic level of infrastructure in places. The rate of development has significantly quickened in recent times with a notable increase in population as a result.
Due to the developing nature, limited social amenities are on offer directly within the district’s boundaries. However, Dakibiyu enjoys close proximity to the more commercial hubs of Jabi and Utako.
Key sites of interest include B10 Leisure Park, Happy Island Amusement Park and Annapolis Auto Centre.
